A sharp-eyed all-rounder
Matti leads the development of organisational insight at Noren and naturally combines both qualitative and quantitative methods in his work – helping clients grasp a nuanced understanding of a changing world and their place in it.
He believes that a successful strategy requires an understanding of both internal organisational culture and the everyday realities of end users – only then is it possible to focus on what truly matters.
Matti is particularly fascinated by how group memberships shape people’s perceptions of the world and themselves – especially in organisational settings. By understanding groups and cultures, business development becomes truly human-centric and ensures that strategy fits the organisation.
Before Noren, Matti worked at a digital agency as a researcher on both Finnish and international accounts. Recently, he has studied working life from various perspectives, the lived experience of migrants, and the energy sector.
